Maria De Bevoise was born on March 21, 1744 in Morrisania, Westchester, New York Colony, daughter of Carel Debevoise (~1711–1757) and Eva Van Voorhees (1719–~1793).[1]

Maria had a brother, Jacobus DeBevoise (1755–1826).

Maria (9) married Johannes DeVoe (20) (born on April 5, 1733 in Morrisania, Province of New York) in 1754 in Morrisania. Their children were:

  2. Elizabeth DeVoe (1760–1804)
  3. Margaret DeVoe (1762–~1804)
  4. Charles Devoe (1765–1838)
  5. Anna Devoe (1767–1804)

Debevoice-1 and De Bevoise-1 are not ready to be merged because: We have much older ancestors on this line to be worked out first, so let's please hold off for a while on these later generations if we can. But they will be fine as Unmerged Match, so that we do not have to hunt for them later. Thanks!
